Armed Forces Week (20-25 June) is a chance to show our support to the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community, from serving troops and reservists, to military families, veterans and cadets. On this 40th anniversary of the Falklands War, our thoughts go out to those who were lost, the veterans of the conflict and all those who supported them.
Amethyst’s cyber professionals are recruited from a wide range of sectors and backgrounds, including the Armed Forces, as we recognise the value ex-military personnel continue to bring to our business. We are proud to have been awarded MoD’s Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award which enhances our reputation for technical excellence and integrity by continuing to recruit and supporting those who have demonstrated selfless commitment to the values of the UK.
In support of Armed Forces Week, Amethyst have made a donation to Scotty’s Little Soldiers, a charity dedicated to supporting bereaved children and young people who have lost a parent in the British Forces. The charity provides a practical yet personal way to show appreciation for those brave individuals who make the ultimate sacrifice in service for their country.
