Armed Forces Week (24 - 29 June) is an opportunity to show our support to the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community, from serving troops and reservists, to miliary families, veterans and cadets.
The week of celebrations includes Reserves Day on Wednesday 26 June, which provides the country with an opportunity to recognise our Reserve Forces, and culminates with Armed Forces Day on Saturday 29 June.
Amethyst’s cyber professionals are recruited from a wide range of sectors and backgrounds, including the Armed Forces, as we recognise the value ex-military personnel continue to bring to our business. We are proud to have been awarded MoD’s Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award, which enhances our reputation for technical excellence and integrity by continuing to recruit and support those who have demonstrated selfless commitment to the values of the UK.
In support of Armed Forces Week, Amethyst have made a donation to FirstLight, a charity supporting those who have served in the Armed Forces, the Emergency Services and their families. All monies raised through the charity’s UK Café Hubs go towards helping veterans get back on their feet.
